Xenia Institute Launch Event

The Xenia Institute Launch Event was held on Tuesday August 19th at 7pm at the Hall at Old Town Plaza.  The Xenia staff wished to inform community members, board members, professors, and students about the new direction of the institute.  Staff members introduced and explained three main aspects of the institute: the Dialogue Groups, Genesis Events, and Annual Awards.  Special musical guests, a percussionist duo, performed twice during the evening and the keynote speaker was Rev. Amy Venable.  The night was a great success with around seventy guests and the new concept of dialogue praised.
